🤝 Relationships
“The beauty of a deep quality relationship is that it’s more resilient than the ebbs and flows of life… These relationships are one of life’s true treasures.”
What’s WHELHO?
I’ve been married since 1991. I’ve raised three incredible humans. I’ve mentored more younglings than I can count. And I’ve learned that relationships are simultaneously the hardest and most rewarding dimension of life.
The Relationships realm is about the people who matter… your family, your team, your mentors, your community. It’s about how to love well, lead with empathy, have hard conversations without destroying trust, and build the kind of bonds that survive the storms.
Our primary job in this life is to effectively understand other humans. Everything else is secondary.

Your Camera Isn’t Afraid of High ISO… You Are
You’ve been lied to. Somewhere along the way… maybe a forum, maybe a YouTube comment section, maybe a well-meaning photographer friend… someone told you ISO 100 was sacred ground. That anything higher was reckless. Dangerous. A cardinal sin against the image quality gods. And…

The Salute That Took 47 Years to Return
December 20th, 1943. A German fighter pilot lined up behind a shredded American bomber… and chose not to pull the trigger. That decision cost him nothing that day. It could have cost him everything. And it took nearly half a century for anyone to say thank you.

The Balanced System We Broke… and the 13 Lies We Tell Ourselves About It
For 800,000 years, the system held. Land and ocean breathed carbon in and out like a steady heartbeat… 780 gigatons exchanged, 780 gigatons absorbed. Balanced. Then we added 30 gigatons on top and acted surprised when the scale tipped.
